This practice is for graduates of the MBCT and MBSR programs. Next practice is on Wednesday, January 8th, 2020 from 7:00 – 8:15 pm. If you would like to attend, email me by noon Monday, January 6th. Let me know if you need the address or driving and parking directions.
There are zafus and zabutons (cushions and larger mats) and chairs. Please bring a yoga mat with you. No guarantee that we will use them every week but have it just in case. Our 75 minutes of formal practice* will be followed by tea and conversation / sharing to foster community.
There is no fee per say but participants will have the opportunity to offer dana to the teacher. Dana is a practice of generosity with the amount offered being entirely up to the individual based on personal circumstances, the benefit received from the monthly practice or simply offering of wishes for the teacher’s well-being.
* Note: We will sit between 30 and 50 minutes with the actual time determined by who shows up. In any session, there will be at least 2 different formal (i.e., sitting meditation, mindful movement, walking meditation, body scan) practices.
